Tofino Bucktailing for Salmon - No Experience Required !

Whether you are a novice or a seasoned sport fisher, you'll be hooked on our West Coast bucktailing technique. Your salt water fly is trolled on the surface behind the prop wash created by the smooth, quiet, four stroke engine powering our 20 ft. Boston Whaler. With little warning, a Pacific Salmon, with torpedo like speed, slashes a "V" pattern on the surface and, with pinpoint accuracy, tears away with your fly on a heart pounding run.

The action starts in June and runs through September, with each wave of Pacific salmon entering the bait fish rich waters of Clayoquot Sound.

Whether your preference is the fast action of a bucktail fly or playing in amongst the kelp beds sight casting for salmon and other game fish species, we are equipped to get you out to the action in comfort, and safety.

Rates

$80/Hour* Tax Included:

• Guided Boston Whaler open centre console boat max 2 anglers, fuel, & safety gear
• All Gear and Tackle
• All weather outerwear
• Cleaning of your catch
• Pricing does not include fishing license (can be purchased locally)

*Minimum 4 hours based on maximum 2 people. Special package rates available for clients staying at Jensen's Bay Bed and Breakfast.

A 50% deposit is required at time of booking to confirm your reservation.

Cancellations

We will refund your deposit less a $25.00 cancellation fee up to 10 days prior to your reservation date.

No rain checks - operator reserves the right to cancel due to inclement weather with full refund

Note: Anglers who choose to catch and release will have partial proceeds donated to salmon enhancement.
